Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;
Erection and repair of safety fence systems.
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;
Vacancy based in Marks Tey, you will be required to work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations
Install and repair safety fence systems
Maintain vehicles, plant equipment and ensure efficient safe usage
Formal qualifications required;
- LGV 2 desirable
- NHSS 12A,B and D
- NHSS 10B all systems desirable
- NHSS 5 day basic
- TMF desirable
It is essential that you will have a current valid Driving Licence with LGV Class 2 entitlement.
You will be able to work safely and productively with minimum supervision.
You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills with a courteous manner and be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers both internally and externally
Highways maintenance experience
Leader of a VRS crew and understanding of Health, Safety & Quality requirements.
Experience of working in the public eye or other customer facing roles would be advantageous.
You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety and its impact on the workplace.
Good knowledge of different VRS systems and adherence to the standards set in the Highway Sector Scheme documents.
