Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;
Delivery of the capital works programme for the Milton Keynes Term Services Contract.
Management of direct labour and subcontractors
Management of all HSE matters relating to the projects
Management of cost and value of the projects delivered
Management and delivery of all relevant KPi's
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;

• Significant professional experience in highway structures design and/or construction;
• Recent, demonstrable experience in supervision of construction of highway structures in steel and concrete and other specialist material forms.
• Organising operative and supply chain teams and pre planning where and who is necessary to have at each site for the day
• Ensure the CDM regulations 2015 principle contractor responsibilities are being adhered too across all works
• Ensure all HSEI compliance requirements are strictly adhered too
• Booking and ordering materials ensuring everything will be available for planned projects
• Filing and checking timesheets that have been completed and entering them into the chosen online system
• Liaise with the client to ensure their needs are being met and that any projects/repairs that they have highlighted are being processed and completed
• Dealing with and processing any invoices
• Ensuring all operatives gain assistance with further training
• Delivering and effectively explaining any Toolbox Talks
• Ensure all relevant certifications are filed and entered into any online systems to make sure that all information is up to date
• Compiling and completing any onsite assessments to detail all improvements that can be made
• Ensure all PPE is provided and correctly worn
• To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.
• To actively foster a positive staff morale
• To prepare and review all Risk assessment and Method statements and ensure compliance with all group standards
Formal qualifications required;
HNC / HND or Degree in Civil Engineering with heavy focus on Strucural Engineering
